Facebook Pixel is an analytics tool that helps you measure the effectiveness of your advertising. You can use Facebook Pixel to track page views and purchases on your Podia Storefront. Facebook Pixel and other advanced analytics tools are available on the Shaker plan. You can learn more about Podia's plans on our pricing page.
Step 1: Get your Facebook Pixel code
If you haven't already done so, head over to Facebook and create a pixel.
You'll be shown a chunk of code and instructed to paste it into your website, which we'll do in Step 2. The code Facebook gives you will look something like this:

Step 2: Paste the Facebook Pixel into your Podia Storefront
Go to the Settings page in Podia and scroll to the "Advanced tracking code" section. Paste your code from Step 1 into the top box labelled "Website tracking code" box and click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page.
The Facebook Pixel will now appear on every page of your Podia Storefront.
Step 3: Track conversion from your Podia storefront to Facebook
Paste the following code into the bottom box labelled "Conversion tracking code" to have Podia send conversion data to Facebook when a purchase is made:
Unlike the code in Step 2, which fires on every page, this code fires only when a purchase occurs.
Your Facebook Pixel is now setup, and you'll soon start to see page view and purchase events appear in your Facebook Events Manager.
You can install the Facebook Pixel Helper extension for Google Chrome to verify that the pixel is correctly installed. Disable any ad-blockers and use private browsing (incognito mode) when testing your pixel installation.
