Once you get your Podia site up and running, you may want to track your visitors.

To set up those analytics, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Register for a Google Analytics account if you haven't already.

Step 2: Locate your UA- code in Google Analytics.

Note: We do not currently support the automatically generated Measurement ID (which begins with "G-") implemented with Google Analytics 4.

Make sure you create a new property following these steps to generate your Universal Analytics ID (which begins with "UA-").

Step 3: From within your Dashboard, click on your name in the top right-hand corner (there's an arrow that should open a dropdown menu when you click on it).

When the dropdown opens, click on "Site settings" within the dropdown menu.

Step 4: Once inside the settings tab, click on the Analytics tab.

Next, type (or paste) in your code formatted as "UA-XXXXX-X" within the "Google Analytics Tracking ID" area.

When you're ready, click "Save changes".

If you have any issues (or still have questions) about how to track visitors to your Podia site, you can reach out to us at [email protected] or click the icon below.

Note for advanced users

Your Podia storefront uses a named tracker, tutorTracker, for Google Analytics. To learn about more sophisticated Google Analytics usage with Podia, see our article on installing advanced analytics.
