The Pinterest tag is a piece of code that you add to your website which lets Pinterest track visitors to your site as well as the actions they take on your site after seeing your Pinterest ad.

Connecting a Pinterest tag to your Podia account is super easy and can be done within a few clicks. This will allow you to track visitors and sales for your Podia site.

Installing a Pinterest Tag

To set up those analytics, follow the steps below:

Step 1

Register for a Pinterest business account if you haven't already and follow these steps to locate your unique Pinterest tag ID.

Step 2

From within your Podia Dashboard, click on your avatar in the top right-hand corner (there's an arrow that should open a dropdown menu when you click on it).

When the dropdown opens, click on "Site settings" within the dropdown menu.

Step 3

Once inside the settings tab, click on the Analytics tab.

Next, type (or paste) in your Pinterest tag under the “Pinterest tag ID” field.

Step 4

When you're ready, click "Save changes".

And that's it! We will now start tracking the following events and sending them to your Pinterest account ✨

  • Page view

  • Customer registration

  • Add to cart

  • Purchase

  • Newsletter signup

  • View category
