Podia allows you to control who can view and join your community with simple availability and visibility settings.

With just a few clicks, you can manage whether your community is open to everyone, restricted to certain members, or completely hidden.

Managing community availability & visibility settings

  1. In the sidebar menu, click on Settings in the sidebar menu and then click Community.

  2. Click on “Edit” next to "Availability" to edit your community availability and visibility settings. You can learn more about what these options entail below.

    Access

    • Open: Visitors can view and join your community.

    • Closed: Your community persists for existing members but is hidden from visitors.

    Visibility

    • Visible: Visible to everyone (only public content is visible to visitors)

    • Hidden: Not visible to anyone not already a member

  3. Click "Save changes."
