When you publish or schedule a new blog post, Podia offers options to easily email your subscribers.

Whether you want to send the email immediately or customize it first, the blog email template will serve as your starting point for these messages.

Introduction

Whenever you publish or schedule a new blog post, you can email your subscribers to inform them about it.

These emails will use the blog email template by default. You can customize this template further or use it as is to immediately email your subscribers about the new post.

By default, your blog email template will contain one Full post email section, but you can customize it however you'd like, add new sections & more!

You can preview how different posts look in this email template, but when the email is actually sent, it will always use the post you've created the email from.

Editing your blog email template

Here's how to edit your blog email template:

  1. From your Podia dashboard, click on Settings in the sidebar menu.
    โ€‹

  2. Navigate to the Blog settings group.
    โ€‹

  3. Click on Edit next to the Post email template option.

  4. You'll be taken to the Email builder, where you'll be able to build and design your email.

  5. Add and modify existing sections of your blog email template until you're satisfied with your blog email template.

It is recommended that you keep at least one Full post or Featured post email section type in your email.

These would be the section types responsible for showcasing your blog post when the email is sent.

To add a new section to your email, hover over the area you'd like to add a new section to and click the "+" icon. Then, pick the section you want to add from the right-hand menu.

  6. To customize individual sections, simply click on the section youโ€™d like to edit to see the options available. Each section type will offer different customization options depending on the section type.

  7. Once you're satisfied with your blog email template, click on Done at the top-right corner.
