If you have a published digital download or online course, you might want to work on new content “behind the scenes” so that existing customers won't see your content before you’re ready to share it.
That’s when hiding specific lessons/files is useful!
It can also be useful if you want to release content to your students at the same date and time, such as every Sunday at 5 p.m.
Hidden lessons/files will not appear on your sales page or inside your product until after you publish them.
It's really easy to do!
In order to hide specific lessons/files simply click on “...” next to the lesson/file you'd like to hide and choose “Set as hidden”.
When you’re previewing your online course, you can still view any hidden lessons, but your customers WON’T see them:

When a lesson is marked as hidden, it will not be visible to any customers, including both existing students who already have access to the product and new customers who purchase the product in the future.
The customers will not be able to view the lesson or the media included.
Hidden lessons remain inside the course for the creator, so you can still edit the content, update files, or prepare the lesson for later release, but customers will not see the lesson listed in the course curriculum or be able to access it in any way.
Once the lesson is unhidden, it will immediately become visible to all customers who have access to that product, regardless of when they purchased it. This means students who enrolled earlier will also gain access to the lesson as soon as it is made visible.
