Your website should look and feel like yours, and you can now customize your Podia website even faster by using saved sections.
Saved sections let you save your carefully designed sections and use them on multiple pages.
Once you've put together a section of your website that you really like, you can save it. No need to start from scratch or spend time copying and pasting - just use your saved section wherever you like on your website.
Saving sections of your site
In order to get started with saved sections, you'll need to first save sections of your site you'd like to re-use later.
Here's how to save sections of your site:
From your Podia dashboard, click on Website in the sidebar menu.
Select Edit site.
From there, create a new page section or save an existing section you'd like to reuse on other pages.
Click on the section you'd like to save and hit the Bookmark icon on the left-hand menu to save your section.
Be sure to assign a descriptive name to your saved section.
This name should effectively represent what the section contains. When you add the section to other pages, you'll recognize it by this name. Naming your section right saves you precious time later on.
And that's all there is to it! Now, we'll learn how to use saved sections on your site pages.
Using saved sections
All of your saved sections will show up at the top of the left-hand side menu whenever you click to add a new section to your pages.
To add a new saved section to your pages, simply hit the "+" button to add a new page section and select the saved section you'd like to add!
Rename or delete saved sections
You can manage your saved sections anytime you'd like by deleting or renaming any of the sections you have saved!
Simply click on "..." next to the section you'd like to manage and choose if you'd like to "Delete" or "Rename" it.

Once you've saved a section, its content becomes fixed and can't be edited. It's like a snapshot of the moment you saved it.
But don't worry! If you've made changes that you'd like to preserve, you can always save it as a new section. That way, you can keep the updated version too.

If you’re noticing that saved sections are missing from your site, it could be due to multiple site builder tabs being open at the same time when the section was saved.
When you have multiple site builder tabs open, changes made in one tab may not sync properly with another, leading to sections not saving correctly.
To avoid this issue, we recommend using the site builder in a single tab to ensure all changes are saved properly.
