The Checkout Success page is displayed after each successful purchase made by your customers.
Customers will get to this page after a successful purchase, enabling you to configure the message that pops up after they purchase products from you.
Introduction
The Checkout Success page appears after a customer successfully completes a purchase, giving you an opportunity to customize the message they see after buying from you.
This page is shared across all of your products, events, and plans, so the message you create will be displayed after any successful purchase. The page will automatically adjust to show the specific product, event, or plan the customer purchased.
By default, Podia includes a standard success message, but you can customize it to display any information you’d like customers to see after completing their purchase.
Each Checkout Success page contains a unique URL you can use for conversion purposes. These URLs are only accessible and viewable after completing a successful checkout process.
Let's take a look at how to customize the Checkout Success page of your Podia site!
Customizing the Checkout Success page
Here's how to customize your checkout success page:
From your Admin dashboard, click Website in the sidebar menu and select "Edit site" on the following page to access the site Builder.
From the Site builder, click on the page navigation menu at the top-left corner
From the left-hand menu, scroll down until you find the Checkout success page and click on it.
Click on the section and use the left-hand menu to make edits, and/or add any new page sections you'd like!
When you're done, click on Publish at the top-right corner to publish your changes.
Note: To dynamically display the name of the product, event, or plan a customer purchased, make sure to use the Product Name variable in your Checkout Success page message.
To add it, type @ in the text area and select Product Name from the dropdown. The variable will automatically display the correct offer name for each purchase.
Setting up a redirect behavior for the Checkout Success page
If you don't want to use Podia's Checkout Success page but instead a different page on an external URL, you can set up a redirect behavior for successful checkouts.
You will need an outside URL ready to go in order to bypass Podia's Checkout Success page.
Note: The same redirect URL will be applied to all of your products. Currently, you cannot set different URLs for different products.

No. The checkout success page is shared across all of your products, so you won't be able to design different pages for different products.
While the design of the page will be the same, we use the Product Name variable to customize which product name will show based on the customer's purchase.
To add it, type @ in the text area and select Product Name from the dropdown. The variable will automatically display the correct offer name for each purchase.

If this is happening to customers, please ensure you have some text added to the Text area of your Checkout success page section.

Can I change the button label on the Checkout Success page?
No. You can’t customize the button label on the Checkout Success page.
This button is a system-controlled element, and its text cannot be edited from the site builder or anywhere else in your Admin dashboard.
The button will always display View product type, with "product type" changing automatically based on what the customer purchased.
For example, if they register for an event, the button will say View event. If they purchase a course, it will say View course. The label updates automatically based on the type of product they purchased.
