Podia allows you to embed different types of media into your online courses, as lessons ✨.
We use iFramely to turn simple links into beautiful and responsive embeddable elements! iFramely is a format for allowing an embedded representation of a URL on third-party sites.
In this article, you'll learn how to add an embeddable element into your online courses!
Adding embeddable content to online courses
Click on Products in the sidebar menu. From there, click on the Edit button on the far right of your product.
Once the online course editor page opens, click the New lesson dropdown and select Add embed.
On the next page fill in the information for the lesson such as Name, Description, and Link.
Under Link, paste the direct URL of the content you'd like to embed. Make sure you DO NOT use an embeddable code.
Examples:
For YouTube videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0B66HfC5g4
For Spotify songs/playlists: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4EMLIezHsmKQx23IcCEyaA?si=ec2f6f6c91dc42cd
Once you're done, hit Save!
You can use the View lesson button to preview how your content will appear for your customers! ✨
