Forms can be used across your Podia site to help supercharge information you might need to collect from users!

While Podia doesn't have a built-in forms feature, you can add forms to your site powered by external platforms, such as Google Forms and Typeform.

Adding forms to your site

Supported platforms: Google Forms, Typeform, Paperform

Forms can be embedded in every place where Podia's rich-text editor is supported. This includes your site, content area of products, community, and blog.

  1. First, create the form you want to embed on Podia on the form service of your preference.

Platforms that work the best with Podia are Google Forms and Typeform. Want to use a different platform and are curious if your platform would embed on Podia? Follow the steps described here.

  2. Once your form is created, copy its Share link and head back to Podia.

Please make sure you're copying the form share link and not its embed code.

Embedded codes won't work on Podia.

  3. Navigate to where you want to add your form to. It can be a course lesson, a community post, or even one of your site pages.

You'll be able to add a form to any place that supports our rich-text editor.

  4. Use the Embed command available in the text editor's quick menu.

  5. Paste the share link to your form, and click “Insert”.

  6. And that's it! You’ll see the form you added on your live site/community/product.

FAQ & Troubleshooting

Do you only support the platforms listed in this article?

No, other platforms might also be supported!

For embedded widgets, we do support all platforms supported by iFramely.

You can test embeds directly at https://iframely.com/try.

If the embed returns a summary card option, this means the element won't be interactive and will just act as a summary card.

Can you help me troubleshoot issues with embedded widgets or third-party codes?

While we can verify if things are properly installed on your Podia site, we cannot troubleshoot issues with embedded widgets or third-party codes.

These problems often involve settings and configurations on external platforms, which fall beyond the range of support we can provide.

Can I control the elements of the embedded element, such as height?

No. The embedded elements and how they render on your Podia site are directly controlled by the platform that created them.

Podia cannot control or change how they will render on your Podia sites.
