Adding your own terms and conditions/privacy policy to your website is the best way to ensure you’re legally covered in any situation!
Terms & conditions/Privacy Policy pages overview
Whenever a customer enrolls in one of your products, they’ll have to agree to your Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
This is shown during checkout:
By default, we will automatically generate legal pages that should get you covered so you don’t have to worry about that.
You can also add your custom terms and/or make any modifications to the ones we generated for you.
Adding your own terms and conditions/privacy policy
Both legal pages are stored in your site builder.
Here’s how to add and change your own terms and conditions pages:
From your Podia dashboard, click on Website in the sidebar menu.
Select Edit site.
Click on the page navigation menu and scroll down to find your Legal pages. You'll see one for Terms and conditions and another one for Privacy Policy.
Click on the page that you want to edit.
Each page will have its own section dedicated to either the privacy policy or terms of services. This section name will match the name of the page you are editing.
The section that displays your terms and conditions acts as a simple text section. You can either click on the section to edit or replace the automatic text that is there or completely remove that section and start with a new one.
When you’re done modifying your pages, click on Publish.
Now your customers will see your own legal pages when enrolling/buying your products!
