A distraction-free landing page is a great way to capture email addresses and grow your email list. Follow the steps below to set up your landing page today!
Open the Site builder by clicking on Website > Edit Site in the sidebar menu.
Click on the + New Page, in the upper right corner.
Navigate and click on the Page settings icon next to the new page you just created. Look for the Show header toggle on the left-hand menu. Toggle it off to hide the header from this page.
Removing the page header will create a distraction-free landing page.
Add an email form section by clicking + on the website builder to add a new page section, and then choose Email form from the left-hand menu.
Click directly on the email form page section and use the Content tab on the left-hand menu to make any modifications you’d like! Here, you can add a title and body text, customize the button label and form subtext, and upload an image.
Using this menu, you can also adjust the following settings:
Success behavior - set up the success behavior of email form submissions, to either show up a message or redirect users to another page/URL.
Show name field - decide whether or not you want to collect names from your subscribers
Tag people - set up tags that should be applied to people who sign up through this email form. You can add one or multiple tags if you'd like.
Finally, create a welcome email (or series of emails) that new subscribers will automatically receive when they sign up.
From your Podia Dashboard, click on Email in the sidebar menu and select Campaigns.
Click +New campaign in the upper right corner.
Set the delay (how soon after entering the campaign your audience should receive this email), the subject and the preview text.
Design your email using a blank template, a template from a previous email, or one of our premade templates.
Click Done at the top of your page. From there, you can Add a new email to the sequence or Finish later and go back to the campaign setup screen.
Once you have added all the emails you would like to your sequence, it is time to launch your campaign! Review the information and - when you're ready - click on Run at the top of the campaign setup page.
Finally, click Run Campaign to confirm.
That’s it! You’re now ready to direct your audience to the landing page to sign up for your newsletter. 🎉
