Changing your account timezone

Learn how to change the timezone set in your account.

By default, Podia automatically detects your timezone based on your browser settings.

You can also manually choose a different timezone if you prefer, so activity and timestamps in your account match your local time.

This setting controls which timezone is used to display activity timestamps across your account, such as when chat messages are sent, posts and comments are made, replies happen, and when products become available.

Changing your account timezone

Here's how to change your Podia account timezone:

  1. Click on your account name at the top-left corner of the sidebar menu and select “Account”.

  2. Click Edit next to the Timezone option.

  3. By default, Podia will automatically set your timezone based on your browser settings. You don't need to do anything about it if your timezone looks correct.

  4. Alternatively, you can turn off the Set my timezone automatically option and choose your timezone manually.

    Simply uncheck the box and select your preferred timezone from the dropdown menu.

  5. Hit Save to save your changes.

How does changing the timezone impact my account?

Adjusting your timezone will ensure that dates and times across your Podia dashboard, such as events, email signups, email scheduling, and others, are displayed based on the timezone you've chosen.

Can customers adjust their own timezone settings as well?

Yes. We'll automatically detect your customers' timezone based on their browser settings.

They'll be able to manually update their timezone directly from the Settings panel of their customer dashboard.
