How do I start using Podia Email?
You can email your customers, subscribers, and members directly from Podia—no third-party platforms needed.
To get started:
Go to the Email tab in the sidebar menu.
If prompted, click Set up email to configure your settings:
Choose whether to enable double opt-in for subscribers.
Customize your opt-in confirmation message.
Enter a mailing address to comply with anti-spam laws (GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
Click Finish setup to save.
You can update your settings anytime.
Now you're ready to send your first email! Let's walk through your two options: broadcasts and campaigns.
Sending one-off emails (Broadcasts)
How do I send a one-time message to my audience?
Use broadcasts to send standalone emails like newsletters or product announcements.
Steps to send a broadcast:
In the Email tab, select Broadcasts.
Click + New broadcast.
Add a subject line and write your content.
Choose who should receive the email:
Everyone
Specific tags or segments
Decide to send now or schedule for later.
You can also duplicate previous emails or save drafts.
Setting up automated email campaigns
How do I send a sequence of emails automatically?
Campaigns let you send a timed sequence of emails based on triggers like sign-ups or purchases.
To create a campaign:
Click on Email → Campaigns.
Select + New campaign and name it.
Set a trigger (e.g. signs up, buys a product).
Add emails to the sequence, specifying delays between each.
Click Publish when ready.
You can edit timing or content at any time—even after launching.
Managing your contacts
Where can I see and organize my email subscribers?
Visit the Audience tab to:
View subscriber profiles and email activity
Filter by tags, purchases, or behavior
Apply or remove tags for better targeting
Tags let you group contacts and send tailored emails.
Tracking performance
How do I know how my emails are doing?
Click into any email or campaign to view:
Open and click rates
Unsubscribes
Conversions (if linked to products)
