This setting lets you choose whether members will receive notifications for new posts by default when they follow a specific space. Members can still adjust their own notification preferences later if they’d like.
Managing default notifications for spaces
Here's how to manage default space notifications for your members:
From your home feed, click on your site name and select Admin from the dropdown menu.
From the Admin dashboard, click Spaces in the sidebar menu.
Click the Edit icon next to the space you'd like to edit.
Under Defaults, check or uncheck the "Members receive notifications for new posts when they follow this space" option.
If the option is checked: Members will automatically receive notifications for this space when following it.
If the option is unchecked: Members will NOT automatically receive notifications for this space when following it. They must manually enable notifications for the space.
Hit Save to save your changes.
