Once you get your Podia site up and running, you may want to track visitors and also sales you make through the platform!
Connecting a Google Analytics tracking code is super easy and can be done within a few clicks. This will allow you to track visitors and sales for your Podia site.

Please note: While we’re happy to help with any issues taking place on our end, we aren’t able to access your accounts with those other tools, which limits the support we can offer.

Installing a Google Analytics tracking code
To set up those analytics, follow the steps below:
Register for a Google Analytics account if you haven't already.
Locate your Measurement ID in Google Analytics. These should begin with a “G-”.
From within your Podia account, click on your avatar in the top right-hand corner. When the dropdown opens, click on "Settings" within the dropdown menu.
Once inside the settings tab, click on the Analytics tab. Add your code within the "Google Analytics Tracking ID" area.
When you're ready, click "Save changes".

Your Podia storefront uses a named tracker, tutorTracker, for Google Analytics.

You’ll need to update your tracking code to the new G- measurement ID. You can follow the steps described here.

Unfortunately, our third-party code set up does not support the use of Google Tag Manager. This is due to the requirement of code being placed in the <head> tag of a site, when we support installation in the <body> tag only.

Yes, although it won't be necessary, since this code you add here will already track conversions.
