From time to time, you may want to speak directly to or mention other folks in the community you're a member of. Mentions are a perfect way to do that.

To speak directly to a member, you can simply tag (or @mention) individual members in your posts, post comments, and replies!

Using mentions in your community

To mention another member or the creator themselves, simply type the @ symbol in the comment or post, then start typing their name!

This will bring up a drop-down of matching folks (who have access to the topic!) that you can select from.

The more of their name that you type after the @ symbol, the more refined the search results become.

Once you post the comment or post that they are mentioned in, they will receive an email notification, according to their personal notification settings.

FAQ
