Podia's notification Inbox brings all your conversations together in one place — making it easy to read and reply to comments, discussions, and other messages related to your business.

Getting started with the Inbox

Podia's notification inbox consolidates all your conversations together in one place.

You’ll get notified whenever someone interacts with your content — including:

  • Replies made to posts and comments created by you in community and discussions;

  • new comments and replies on your products, lessons, and blog posts;

  • any reports submitted about comments or posts.

Here's how to access and get started with the Inbox:

  1. In the sidebar menu, click on Inbox.

  2. From there, you'll be able to view all of the latest notifications from your account - such as posts, comments, replies, etc.

  3. Click on each one of the notifications on the left to expand and view it with more details.

  4. Use the main view to interact with the comments/replies, such as liking, deleting and replying.

Filtering notifications

You can filter notifications based on different parameters, such as notification type, read/unread status, and more.

Here's how to filter notifications:

  1. From the Inbox page, click on the Filters icon

  2. Select one of the filter options from the dropdown menu - such as read/unread status, notification type, etc.

  3. Results that match your filters will appear on the left. Click on any result to view, reply to, or delete the notification.

Marking notifications as read/unread

You can mark notification as read or unread depending on the status you want to give it.

This is useful if you want to come back to specific notifications at a later time or mark the ones you already read.

Here's how to mark specific notifications as read/unread:

  1. From the Inbox page, click on the notification you'd like to mark as read/unread.

  2. Click the Unread/Read icon at the top of a conversation to update its status. For example, clicking “Unread” will mark the conversation as unread.

Clearing notifications

Clearing notifications helps you tidy up your inbox by removing messages you no longer need to see. Cleared notifications will be removed from your inbox.

Here's how to clear notifications:

  1. From the Inbox page, click on the notification you'd like to clear.

  2. Click the Clear icon at the top of a conversation to clear the notification and remove it from your inbox.

FAQs

I'm not seeing any notifications on my Inbox... HELP!

Only notifications created after May 6, 2025 will appear in your Inbox.

Any notifications — including comments, posts, and discussions — made before that date won’t be visible in the new Inbox.

Is the inbox available for Team members?

No. The inbox is only available for account owners.

Team members can still manage comments directly from each product, post, or page individually.

Is the inbox available for customers?

No. Customers don’t have access to the inbox — it’s only visible to Podia account owners.

Can I manage in-app notifications for the inbox?

Yes. You can manage in-app notifications for your inbox directly from your notifications page.
