The affiliate attribution window is the number of days between when a customer clicks on an affiliate link and signs up, during which you’ll give your affiliates a commission.

By default, this window is set to 15 days, but you can easily change it if you want to shorten or extend this period.

Adjusting the affiliate attribution window

The affiliate attribution window is the time frame, in days, between when a customer clicks on an affiliate link and completes a signup.

Within this period, affiliates are eligible to earn a commission.

By default, this window is set to 15 days, but you can easily customize it to be shorter or longer if needed.

Here's how to customize your affiliate attribution window:

Step 1: From the top navigation menu, click on Audience and select Affiliates.

Step 2: From the Affiliates page, click on the Settings tab to access your commission options.

Step 3: In the Attribution Window field, enter the number of days you want for your affiliate attribution window.

You can set a period between 1-90 days.

FAQ & Troubleshooting

Does changing the attribution window have an impact on existing affiliate links?

Yes.

When a customer makes a purchase, we use the period in your attribution window to see if they used an affiliate link.

For example, if your attribution window is set to 15 days, we’ll review the past 15 days to find a site visit through an affiliate link when a purchase happens.

If you change this window to 90 days, then from that point on, every purchase will check the last 90 days for a site visit through an affiliate link.
