Building an affiliate program with Podia is a great way to grow your online reach.

Sometimes, you might need to open, close, or stop your program based on different factors.

In this article, we’ll show you how to manage your affiliate program settings.

To manage your affiliate program's settings, click on Affiliates in the sidebar menu and navigate to the Settings option.

From the Settings page, you will see different options. Let's take a look at each one individually!

Availability options will allow you to configure how people join your affiliate program.

You can choose between three options:

Set your default commission for each sale that’s referred by an affiliate.

If no product-specific commission is set, the default commission will be used when calculating affiliate sales.

You can choose between a percentage and a fixed amount.

You can also set commissions for specific products. These will override the default commission rates for those particular products.

Click on "New commission" and select the product and commission % you'd like to set. You can repeat this process multiple times.

The affiliate attribution window is the time frame, in days, between when a customer clicks on an affiliate link and completes a signup.

Within this period, affiliates are eligible to earn a commission.

By default, this window is set to 15 days, but you can easily customize it to be shorter or longer if needed.

Simply enter a value between 1-90 days to change your affiliate's attribution window.

Prevent affiliates from seeing and referring customers to specific products.

Excluded products will be hidden from your affiliates’ dashboards and commissions will stop generating for those products.
