Written by Rodrigo

Are you interested in becoming an ambassador for a creator who uses Podia?

You're in luck! If the creator has invited you to become an affiliate, or if they have a public affiliate program, you'll be able to earn extra money while promoting the products that you love!

This short guide will walk you through what happens when you become an affiliate for one of our users.

Please note: This article is for members of a creator who offers an affiliate program.

Overview

Becoming an affiliate is a great way to earn some extra money by letting other people know about a great product that you’ve purchased.

The creator of the product will set either a percentage for commission or a fixed dollar amount that you can earn if someone signs up using your affiliate link.

Accessing your affiliate dashboard

Your affiliate dashboard can be accessed directly from your home feed.

From your home feed, click on the site name you're part of and select Affiliate program from the dropdown menu.

On the affiliate page, you'll see the following:

  • Affiliate sales - This is where you will see the sales you've made.

  • Analytics - This section is an overview that tells you the number of sales that you've made, your paid commissions, and any unpaid commissions.

  • Links - Here, you'll find the links that you will share to earn commissions.

Getting paid

Affiliates are paid via PayPal. When you initially sign up as an affiliate, you'll be prompted to set up a PayPal account.

Just enter your PayPal email and click Join to get started. Once you start making sales, you will be able to view each referral and see their payment status.

Note: Each affiliate program owner may handle payments differently.

If you have questions about payment timing or how often payments are sent, please contact the creator directly.

When an affiliate payment is processed, you will receive an email notification from PayPal letting you know your funds are on the way. ✨

FAQs
