This is Step 4 in our Guide for New Users. Head over to the overview page to start at the beginning!
Planning your site's content
There are a lot of different ways to build and design a homepage. Here are some ideas of what you can include:
Talk about your business and yourself
Share your company’s history
Display your published products
Add a newsletter capture form
Opening your site editor
To build and edit your homepage, you’ll need to access the Site builder.
Click on Website in the sidebar menu and select Edit site from the website’s page.
Choose a starting template
If this is your first time opening the site builder, you'll be prompted to select the options that would better suite the site you're building.
NOTE: if you already have a website with us you won't see this option and will be taken to directly to the site builder.
Pick a color combination from the available options and select one of the starting template options.
⚠️ Choose carefully, as the starting template cannot be modified once your site is created.
You will be able to choose between four different template options:
Blank site: If you want to start from scratch and build everything yourself
Email lander: A simple page that collects emails from your audience
Link page: A simple page with links to the rest of your online presence, such as social media profiles, external site, etc.
Full website: We will generate a complete and customizable website for you.
After choosing an option, you will be directed to your website, which we have crafted just for you ✨.
Editing your homepage
Finally, it's time to add and edit the sections on your homepage.
To add a new section, hover your mouse over the area where you'd like to add a new page section. Click the “+” symbol and pick different types of page sections from the left-hand menu.
To edit an existing section, click directly on the page section you’d like to edit. From there, use the left-hand menu to edit the information from your page section.
