Podia makes it simple to edit your page sections and customize them to look exactly how you want.
In this article, we’ll show you how to edit page sections on your Podia site.
Editing a page section
Here's how to edit page sections you have on your site pages.
Access the Site builder and navigate to the page/section you'd like to edit.
Click directly on the page section you’d like to edit.
Use the left-hand menu to make modifications to this specific page section.
The Content tab allows you to modify the content of your section, and the Design tab allows you to change design options.
Editing tabs
The Content and Design tabs on the left-hand menu will allow you to make all the necessary adjustments you'd like to your site pages!
The options you'll see in both Content and Design tabs will vary based on the type of page section you're editing.
Content tab
The Content tab is where you will edit the content of the page sections you have on your site.
Depending on the page section you're editing, you'll view different options on the left-hand menu.
Use the available fields to edit the text, adjust heading sizes, upload images, add new buttons, modify individual items of testimonials/grids & more!
If you want to remove a specific area from your site, simply leave the field empty/remove all text.
Design tab
The Design tab is where you'll edit how your page sections will look like to your customers.
You'll find options to modify the Layout, Appearance, add a Background image & more!
Let's take a look at these options:
Image
If your page section contains an image, you can modify how it looks here.
Choose the aspect ratio of your image (this will override individual image settings), corner options, and image width.
You can also turn on/off a Mobile full-width option which controls how your image looks like on mobile.
Layout
These settings allow you to choose how media and text interact with each other.
Under Alignment, you'll get to select left, center, and right alignment options for your text.
Under Media, you can select among different placement options for the media and text on your page sections.
The options here will depend on the section itself and can include a heading option as well!
Additionally, you'll also see options to modify your page section's width, padding, and gaps, as well as adjust the column count per row (if your page section supports columns).
Appearance
These options will help you set the style and colors for your page section.
You can apply borders to your page section and configure its settings to modify how it looks. Enabling the border option will trigger border design options.
Under Style, you'll get to pick different style options, which will change how media interacts with your page section.
Available options are: Plain, Card, Split, Overlay, and Inset.
For your color theme, you'll get to pick one of the 6 section themes generated by your site's base colors.
You'll also get to add a background image to your page sections.
