Importing people into your audience is faster and easier than ever before!
β
But what happens when everything on your CSV looks right but you're still seeing FAILED on the status page?
β
This article will go over the most common reasons that an import might fail, as well as how to address the issues so you can start sending emails their way ASAP!
Exceeding your Podia Email plan limits
One of the most common reasons an import might fail is that you are exceeding the number of emails you're trying to import that your Podia Email plan includes.
Podia allows you to import subscribers up to the size of your Podia email plan.
Importing more emails than what your Podia Email plan allows will cause the import to fail.
You can easily change your Podia Email plan by visiting the Billing section of your account! π
High risk/bounce rate list
Another reason why your import might fail is because you're uploading a high risk/bounce rate list.
Podia uses automatic security checks to make sure only good, active lists are added to the platform. If your list doesn't meet our bounce rate standards, your import won't go through.
Here are some things you can do:
Clean your list
We recommend running your CSV through a cleaning tool like NeverBounce.
Once you export your cleaned list, you should be able to import it to your Podia account without fear of rejection!
Remove Role-Related Emails
In case your list is still not importing check for any role emails.
These include hello@, info@, company@ and will be rejected by our importer.
Remove these, and it should be good to go!
In most cases, import rejections can be solved using the options above.
If you believe that your list is being rejected in error, reach out to our team! You can send an email to [email protected] or click the purple help icon below.
We'll be glad to dive a bit deeper and get to the root of the issue! π
