If you have a sale or discount going on, your affiliates won’t know unless you tell them.
Coupon codes you make aren’t automatically shared with affiliates, so you need to let them know about any promotions you’re running and explain how they can use these coupons with their affiliate links.
A good way to do this is to send affiliates an email broadcast.
Here's how to add coupons to affiliate links:
In the examples below, xtop1 is the affiliate code and the coupon is HALF.
Here's a standard affiliate link:
https://yoursite.podia.com/another-paid-product/xtop1
Here's a standard link for a coupon:
yoursite.podia.com/another-paid-product?coupon=HALF
From there, you can instruct your affiliates to combine the links.
They should add the coupon code part right after their affiliate link.
Final link combining affiliate and coupon codes:
yoursite.podia.com/another-paid-product/xtop1?coupon=HALF

In order for the affiliate attribution to properly work, affiliates will need to send customers to a product sales page.
Sending customers directly to the checkout page will cause the attribution to not properly work.

This method only works with links that go directly to a product page, not for the storefront/homepage links.
For example https://yoursite.podia.com/a/xtop1/?coupon=HALF won't work and will return a 404 error.
