Occasionally, you may want to embed an audio player, song, playlist, or podcast into your site or your course materials.
Luckily, using our iFramely integration, you're able to do exactly that!
Background
Natively, audio files uploaded into Podia will appear in a few different ways.
In courses, audio files added as File lessons will populate an audio player as well as give the option to download.
On site pages, audio files will simply appear as downloadable files.
Using our iFramely integration, you can offer a stream-only option by using an external platform to help you accomplish your vision!
Supported platforms: Soundcloud, Spotify, Deezer, Apple Podcasts, Podbean, DjPod
Locating the URL
As with all embeds in Podia, you will only need to grab the direct URL to the audio, playlist, or podcast that you'd like to embed.
β Embed code is not currently supported in Podia.
In the examples below, we've shown the paths to collect URLs in a few popular platforms.

Embedding the audio player
Inside a course
There are two ways to add an embed inside of a course.
As your first option, you can create it as an embed lesson. From your course editor, you'll select the option to add a New lesson, then choose Add embed.
In the lesson editor that follows, you'll simply paste the URL into the embed section.
Alternatively, you can add the player inside a text lesson.
Use the Embed command available in the text editor's quick menu.
Then, simply paste the audio URL and click Insert.
On your site
You can embed your file into any section that is labeled as a Text section.
Use the Embed command available in the text editor's quick menu.
The embed will first appear in the text editor.
When you save and exit the page, then reopen the page in the editor, you will see it displayed on your site page.
