Learn how to remove a customer’s access to a product

There may be times when you need to remove a customer from a specific product. You can do this by removing their access without deleting their customer profile.

Here's how to remove product access for a particular customer:

  1. From your Podia dashboard, click on Audience in the sidebar menu.

  2. Use the search bar at the top to find a customer by name or email address, or scroll to manually locate their profile.

    To view a customer's full profile and make changes, click on their name.

  3. Click on "..." next to the product you'd like to remove access for and select "Remove access".

The customer will be removed from the product immediately and won't be able to access it again.

You can add a customer back to a product anytime by inviting or asking them to purchase it again. They’ll pick up their progress where they left off, but any delay settings will reset based on the date they were re-added.

FAQs

How do I remove enrollment for a subscription-based product or a product with payment plans?

For subscription-based products and those with payment plans, the Remove access option isn’t available.

Instead, you’ll see options to Cancel subscription or Cancel plan. To remove access, you’ll need to cancel the customer’s subscription or payment plan. Once their subscription/payment plan is canceled, they'll be removed from the product.
