If you have a published digital download or online course, you may want to work on new content behind the scenes without making it visible to existing customers right away.
That’s where hiding specific lessons or files can be helpful.
Hidden lessons and files won’t appear on your sales page or inside the product for customers until you make them visible.

How do hidden lessons/files affect existing customers?
When a lesson or file is marked as hidden, it won’t be visible to any customers — including both existing customers and anyone who purchases the product later.
Customers won’t be able to see the lesson/file in the product curriculum or access any of the content inside it.
As the creator, the hidden lesson will still remain visible in your account, so you can continue editing it, updating files, or preparing it for release.
Once you make the lesson/file visible again, it will immediately become available to all customers who have access to that product, regardless of when they enrolled.
Can I manually unhide lessons/files to release them at a specific time for customers?
Can I manually unhide lessons/files to release them at a specific time for customers?
Yes. If you want to prepare content in advance but only make it available at a specific time, you can keep lessons or files hidden while you work on them and make them visible when you’re ready.
For example, you could prepare content ahead of time and release it every Sunday at 5 PM.
