Written by Rodrigo

Viewing and editing your site page's links can come in handy whenever you'd like to share it with customers or even modify it for some reason!

With the steps outlined below, you'll be able to view and change the URL of your products, online courses, custom pages & more!

Viewing a site page URL

Viewing a site page link can be done by accessing our site builder and navigating to the page's details.

  1. From your home feed, click on your site name and select Admin from the dropdown menu.

  2. From the Admin dashboard, click Website in the sidebar menu.

  3. Click the Page settings icon next to the page you'd like to view the URL for.

  4. Your page URL can be found under the URL field.

    • You can copy it and share it with your customers or use it to build an internal linking system on your site!

And that's it! You can copy the link for your product pages, category pages, legal pages & more!

Editing a site page URL

You can also edit a site page URL by following pretty much the same steps!

  1. From your home feed, click on your site name and select Admin from the dropdown menu.

  2. From the Admin dashboard, click Website in the sidebar menu.

  3. Click the Page settings icon next to the page you'd like to edit the URL for.

  4. In the URL field, put in the specific slug you want for your page.

    • Just type in the unique part of your page's address

    • Don’t enter the full domain in the URL field, since Podia automatically adds your site domain for you.

Note: Just enter the last part of the URL (page slug) you want to use.

Don’t type the full website address into the URL field, since Podia automatically fills your main domain for you.

If you enter the full URL, the link may end up with a repeated domain, such as yourdomain.com/yourdomain-com-yourpage.

Now, your new page will be accessible under this new URL.

FAQs

Can I change the URL of other pages of my site, such as common file paths and product paths?

No. You'll only be able to change the URL of the pages available in the Site builder.

Other paths cannot be edited at this time.

What is the redirect behavior after a URL is changed?

When you change the URL of a page, the old URL will automatically redirect to the new one, as long as the old URL isn’t being used elsewhere.

This ensures that any links set up in the past remain functional and avoid disruptions.

If you want to stop this automatic redirect, you can assign the old URL to a different page.
