When a new message is received when you are not on the Podia messaging page, you will be alerted with a notification sound, along with a toast message in-app. If you would like to disable this, you can easily do this on the notification settings page:
Scroll down to the Message notifications section and uncheck the Play a sound when receiving a message. This option will disable the messaging sound notifications in Podia.
