Customize the notifications you receive from Podia by adjusting your notification preferences.

You can easily customize the notifications you receive from Podia by adjusting your settings by visiting your account settings.

The notifications can be adjusted inside your Account settings in your dashboard.

Managing your Podia account notification preferences

To opt in and out of email notifications for your Podia account, follow these steps.

  1. Click on your avatar at the top left-hand corner of your dashboard and select Account.

  2. Scroll down to the notifications section on account page.

    You can locate your account notifications in the Notifications section on your account page. It is the second section on the page.

  3. To adjust the notification setting, simply click the Edit button at the end of that category's row. Once you click Edit, simply use the checkboxes to determine if you'd like to receive notifications for a particular item or not.

  4. Save your changes to update your preferences.

Understanding your notification options

In the notification settings section, you'll see that you can customize your notification preferences for five different categories. These categories include:

General Notifications

Manage notifications related to your account and customer activity.

  • New account cancellations

  • New affiliate product sales

  • New affiliate community sales

Message Notifications

Manage notifications for new messages.

  • Email notifications for unread messages (1-hour delay)

  • In-app notifications for new messages

  • Play a sound effect for in-app messages

Product Notifications

Adjust notifications for product-related updates.

  • New product comments

  • New sign-ups for free products

  • New sign-ups for paid products

  • Successful product payments

  • Failed product payments

  • New discussion activity (if enabled)

  • Mute notifications for specific products

Community Notifications

Manage notifications for community updates.

  • New members

  • Member cancellations

  • Mentions in open/public topics you don’t follow

  • Customize or mute notifications for specific topics

Blog Notifications

Manage notifications for blog activity.

  • Comments on your posts

  • Replies to your comments

  • Replies to other people's comments

FAQ

I am not receiving notification emails! How do I fix this?

If you are not receiving notification emails and your settings show that you should be, our team may need to investigate further.

Please send us a message that includes the type of notification you're missing, the last date you received the notification (if applicable), and the email address on your account.
