While video and audio files can be streamed directly through Podia, you can also choose to let customers download them if you prefer.
In this article, we’ll show you how to manage download settings for your audio and video files.
Enabling or disabling downloads for audio and video files
By default, the download option for audio/video files will be turned off.
Here's how to enable download links for your audio and video files:
Locate the audio or video file you want to enable download for. It can be uploaded to an online course, community, etc.
Hover your mouse over the audio/video player to bring up its editing options and click on the Pencil (Edit) icon.
An "Edit video" popover will open. Click on the checkbox "Show download link" to enable download for your audio/video.
Note: Video download links may take a few minutes before they work. Learn more
Hit Save to save your changes.

My video download links are not appearing... HELP!
My video download links are not appearing... HELP!
When you enable download links for video files on Podia for the first time, it may take a few minutes for the download link to generate, depending on the size and length of your videos.
This means the link might not appear immediately after you enable the download option for customers, but it should show up after a few minutes.
The download link only needs to be generated once, so if you disable and re-enable downloads later, the link for the same lesson will appear right away.
