Notifications help you stay on top of what’s happening in your account and keep up with activity across products, community, and spaces.

In this article, we’ll show you how notifications work and how to manage them.

Overview

You can view your notifications directly from your home feed. Podia will notify you about key activities happening across your account.

You’ll receive notifications for things like:

To view your notifications, click the Notifications icon at the bottom of the sidebar to see your latest updates.

A popover will open showing your most recent notifications.

Click on any notification to go directly to the related content and automatically mark the notification as read.

Managing notifications

You can choose how you want to receive notifications for activity on your account, both on the web and by email.

Web notifications: A popover will appear inside your site whenever there’s a new notification.
Email notifications: You’ll receive an email whenever there’s a new notification.

Here's how to manage your notifications:

From your home feed, click on your profile in the bottom left corner and select Account.
From your Account settings, click Edit next to Notifications.
Use the toggles to control what types of notifications you'd like to get, both for web and email.

You can also view all your notifications on a dedicated page:

Open the Notifications menu and scroll to the bottom, then click “View all.”
This will open a new page where you can see all your notifications in one place, as well as access your Notification settings and mark all read.

The Notifications inbox has been discontinued. Now, to view your notifications, you must access the Notifications icon directly from your home feed.

It will contain all of the notifications for your account, including mentions, reports, comments, etc.
