Notifications help you stay on top of what’s happening in your account, so you can see who’s interacting with your posts, reacting, and more.
Podia gives you full control over your notifications, allowing you to turn specific types on or off based on what you want to receive and how you want to receive them.
Overview
By default, notifications are enabled for spaces you follow, posts you create or comment on, and course lessons you interact with.
You can choose what notifications you receive and how you receive them — including activity updates, chat messages, and even specific spaces you want to follow.
There are 2 types of notifications on Podia:
Web notifications: A popover will appear inside your site whenever there’s a new notification.
Email notifications: You’ll receive an email whenever there’s a new notification.
You can enable or disable each notification type individually, or use both, depending on your preferences.
Managing notifications
Here's how to manage your notifications:
From your home feed, click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner and select Account.
Click Edit next to Notifications.
Use the toggles to control which notifications you’d like to receive, for both web and email.
Activity notifications
Manage notifications for things like new posts, comments, reactions, and mentions.
Activity notifications are automatically enabled for spaces you follow, posts you create or comment on, and course lessons you comment on.
You can also choose how often you want to receive email notifications:
Instant – Emails are sent as events happen, with one email per action.
Hourly summary – Notifications are grouped and sent every hour.
Daily summary – Notifications are grouped and sent once every 24 hours.
Off - Turn activity notifications off completely.
Chat notifications
Enable or disable notifications for new chat messages. Chat email notifications are grouped and sent with a 10-minute delay.
General notifications
Enable or disable general marketing emails from your account.

These notifications are sent automatically to help keep you informed about changes to your customers’ billing and subscription status.

Where do I adjust the notifications I receive from the Podia Creator Community?
Notifications for the Podia Community are managed directly in your Podia Community account in your Account Settings. This is a different space than your other notification settings.
In the community, simply click your avatar, then choose account settings from the dropdown. In the sidebar, select Notifications.
