Editing your plans page

Learn how to edit your plans page

Written by Rodrigo

The Plans page is a default page that shows all the plans available on your site, making it easy for visitors to choose an offer and join.

In this article, we’ll show you how to edit your Plans page.

Overview

The Plans page displays all of your published and public plans in one place.

It can also include a “Join for free” option, allowing visitors to get access to the free area of your community by simply creating an account.

On this page, visitors will be able to see:

  • All your published and public plans

  • Descriptions of each plan

  • CTA buttons to join a plan

  • Spaces included in each plan

  • A “Join for free” button (optional)

  • Products included in each plan (displayed automatically as a bullet list when products are added to a plan)

People can access the Plans page by clicking the “Join” button on your site or by visiting it through a direct link.

Here's how to edit your Plans page:

  1. From your home feed, click on your site name and select Admin from the dropdown menu.

  2. From the Admin dashboard, click Plans in the sidebar menu.

  3. From the Plans page, click "Edit Plans page".

  4. From there, you'll be able to edit your Plans page, changing things such as Title, Description, order of plans & more.

  5. Click "View Page" to view your plans page to see how it looks.

Here's everything you'll be able to edit in the Plans Page:

Title

Choose a custom Title for your Plans page, that will appear at the top of the page.

Subtitle

Choose a custom subtitle, which will appear right below your Title.

Choose plan buttons

By editing your choose plan buttons, you can customize the call-to-action (CTA) and button settings on your Plans page.

These settings control the buttons that appear below each plan option.

Let people join for free

If this option is enabled, your Plans page will display a Join for free button, allowing people to quickly create an account and immediately join the free tier of your site.

Once they’ve created an account, they’ll automatically receive any products set to Included with membership and can view any open Spaces in their Home Feed.

To enable or disable this option, use the Let people join for free checkbox while editing your Plans page.

If you keep this on, use the Join for free button to customize the label of the button on your Plans page.

Plan order

You can easily control the order in which your plans appear on the Plans page.

Click and hold the three-line icon next to a plan, then drag and drop it to rearrange the order.

FAQs

How do I edit the description beneath each plan on the plans page?

The plan description shown on the Plans page comes directly from your plan’s description.

To update it, go to Admin → Plans and edit the description for your plan. Any changes will automatically appear on the Plans page.

Where do the bullet points on my plan cards come from?

The bullet list that appears under a plan on the Plans page is automatically generated from the products you've included in that plan — it's not part of the plan description.

To add or change what appears in that list, go to Admin → Plans, click Edit on the plan, and update the Included products section. Any products you add there will automatically appear as bullets on the Plans page.

This list is generated automatically and cannot be formatted or customized — it will always display as a bullet list of the included product names.

Can I change the order in which products appear on my plans page?

No. The order of products listed under each plan on the Plans page cannot be manually customized. The list is generated automatically, and the display order is not controllable from the Plans page or site editor.

As a workaround, you can influence the order by renaming your products so they sort the way you intend, for example, prefixing names with numbers like "1.1 Introduction", "1.2 Fundamentals", "1.3 Advanced" so they appear in the right sequence.
