Adding files to your products
You can add files to specific types of products on Podia - such as online courses, digital downloads, coaching, and webinars.
Here's how to add files to products on Podia:
From your Podia dashboard, click on Products in the sidebar menu.
Now it is time to add your files. Let's take a look at each product type and how files can be added to each one of them.
Online courses
Online courses give you the flexibility to mix and match different types of files. When adding files to your online course, you can choose from several media types:
Video and audio: Streamed directly through your course.
Other files: They'll be download-only. You can upload any type of file.
Here's how to add a file as a new lesson:
Click “+ New Lesson”.
Choose the Files option.
Upload the file from your computer. You can also upload multiple files if you'd like.
This file will be created as its own lesson.
Video and audio will be added as players
Any other file types will be added as a download-only option
You can also add files to an existing lesson:
Click the lesson name to open the lesson editor.
Type / (forward slash) to bring up the media options.
Choose whether you want to add a video, audio file, or a downloadable file.
Digital Downloads
Digital Download products let you offer files that customers can download and open on their own devices.
Any file you upload to this product type is automatically set as download-only, and you can upload virtually any file format you need.
To add a file to a digital download product, simply click on Choose files and upload your files from your device.
Webinars and Coaching
You can add files to the Instructions area of your webinar and coaching products if you want to share materials with customers ahead of time or provide extra resources.
Here's how to do that:
Head to the Instructions area of your webinar/coaching products.
Type / (forward slash) to bring up the media options.
Choose whether you want to add a video, audio file, or a downloadable file.
