Changing your Podia plan

Here's how to change your Podia plan:

  1. From your home feed, click on your site name and select Admin from the dropdown menu.

  2. From the Admin dashboard, click Billing in the sidebar menu.

  3. From the Billing page, click Change plan.

  4. First, decide what plan you want to change to: Mover, Shaker, or Earthquaker.

  5. Use the Pay yearly option if you’d like to be billed annually and save 15% on your subscription.

  6. Choose how many subscribers you’d like included with your Podia plan. Each plan comes with a different number of subscribers included for free.

Use the dropdown menu to select the subscriber tier that best fits your audience size. Your pricing will automatically update based on the number of subscribers you choose.

  7. Review your selection and click Upgrade/Downgrade based on the plan and subscriber count you've chosen.

  8. You'll be taken to a Stripe confirmation page. Review your information and hit Confirm when you're done.

FAQs

How does billing work if I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

If you downgrade your plan, you will automatically be scheduled to move to the new plan at the end of your billing cycle.

If you upgrade to a higher tier, you will be brought to a new window that will appear from our payment processor, Stripe, which will confirm the amount due today. Upgrading to a higher tier will take effect immediately.

We'll pro-rate anything you've already paid and add it as credits for your upgrade.

How does billing work if I change to monthly/annual billing?

If you are moving from annual to monthly: you will automatically be scheduled to move to the new pricing at the end of your billing cycle. This also applies to legacy plan holders on a yearly billing cycle who switch to a new monthly plan — the change will be scheduled for the end of their current billing cycle, not applied immediately.

If you are switching from monthly to annual: you will be brought to a new window that will appear from our payment processor, Stripe, which will confirm the amount due today. Changing to annual will take effect immediately.

Your billing date will be anchored to the day you switch. Note on the "update successful" message: If you see "update successful" after changing from annual to monthly (or from a legacy yearly plan to a new monthly plan), this means the change has been queued — not that it has taken effect. Your plan and limits will update on the scheduled date. If you need the change to take effect immediately (for example, because you’ve exceeded your current subscriber limit), contact support and a teammate can manually process the change early.
