Managing the credit card on file for your Podia subscription

Learn how to update the payment method tied to your Podia subscription.

If your credit card information changes or you need to update it, you can easily manage the card we have on file for your Podia subscription!


Updating a credit card

  1. Click on your name on the sidebar menu and select Billing.
    ​

  2. Next to Payment method, click on the Update payment method button.
    ​

  3. On the next screen, which is provided by our payment processor, Stripe, locate the πŸ–ŠοΈ pen icon next to the card associated with the subscription you would like to update.
    ​

  4. This will open a page you can select your payment method for the subscription on. To add a new card, click "Add payment method". Fill in the appropriate details and hit update when you're done.
    ​

  5. Either select 'Return to Podia Labs, Inc.' on the next page or exit the screen when you are done.
    ​


Changing which card is used for a subscription

  1. Click on your name on the sidebar menu and select Billing.
    ​

  2. Next to Payment method, click on the Update payment method button.
    ​

  3. On the next screen, which is provided by our payment processor, Stripe, locate the πŸ–ŠοΈ pen icon next to the card associated with the subscription you would like to change.
    ​

  4. This will open a page you can select your payment method for the subscription on. You can either select one of the cards you already have on file or add a new one here. Hit the Update button to save the change.
    ​

  5. Either select 'Return to Podia Labs, Inc.' on the next page or exit the screen when you are done.
    ​


Deleting a card on file

  1. Click on your name on the sidebar menu and select Billing.
    ​

  2. Next to Payment method, click on the Update payment method button.​​
    ​

  3. The list of all payment methods we have on file will be listed here. Click on the '...' button next to the card you want to remove and select Delete.
    ​

  4. Once you're done, either select 'Return to Podia Labs, Inc.' or exit the screen πŸ™Œ
    ​


FAQ

Why am I not seeing the option to delete my card?

You cannot delete a payment method if it currently being used for a subscription. You will first need to change the card being used before deleting.

Can I change the card tied to all my plans at once?

You can change which card is used for all subscriptions at once by using the Make default option available in the '...' button under the list of your payment methods.
