You can easily reuse videos and files you’ve already uploaded to your Media Library across lessons, site pages, products, and more.

You only need to upload a file once. After that, it’s available to use again across your site, as many times as you’d like, with just a few clicks.

Reusing Media Library files

You can reuse files from your Media Library across different places in your Podia account.

To do that, first upload the file from your computer to a product, your site, community, blog post, etc.

Once it’s uploaded, it will be added to your Media Library, and you’ll be able to reuse that same file in other locations.

Once a file is uploaded to your Media Library, you can reuse it across other areas of your Podia account by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to the place where you want to reuse the file (e.g., reusing an image on your website, reusing a video on a different lesson, etc.)

You can reuse files across different locations of your account, such as products, site, blog, settings, etc.

  2. Click on the uploader and select the "Choose files..." option.

  3. Type the name of your file in the search field and click on it to select it.

Only compatible file types will appear based on where you’re adding the file — for example, image fields will only show image files, and video fields will only show video files. Unsupported file types won't be available to select.

And that’s it! Your file will automatically load and be added to the desired location.
