Sometimes, you may want to call another member’s attention directly, and mentions make that easy.
You can tag members using @mentions in posts, comments, and replies to notify them and bring them into the conversation.
It’s a simple way to make discussions feel more engaging and personal.
Using @ mentions
To mention someone, type the @ symbol in the comment or post, then start typing their name!
As you type in their name, results of matching active members will be available for you to select from.
The more of their name that you type after the @ symbol, the more refined the search results become.
Click on the name of the person you want to mention to add it to the post.

If you don't want other members to @mention you, you can hide your profile. Hidden profiles can't be @mentioned.

If you can't find someone to @mention, there could be a few reasons:
They don't have access to the Space you're in. You can only @mention members who also have access to the spaces you're in.
They've hidden their profile, which prevents them from being @mentioned
They're no longer a member
