At Podia, your email monthly or annual fee is calculated based on the number of active subscribers you have.

Here's how to change your Podia Email plan depending on the number of subscribers you have on your account!

Changing your Podia Email plan

  1. Click on your name at the top left-hand corner and select Billing.

  2. Locate the Podia Email section.

  3. Click "Manage" and select "Upgrade plan".

  4. Pick the Podia Email plan that best suits your needs, based on the number of subscribers you currently have on your account.

You can also Pay yearly and save 20% on your subscription.

Upgrades will take effect immediately.

When you're downgrading, your new plan will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle (either monthly or annual).

FAQ

Does Podia automatically upgrade my Podia Email plan if I hit the subscriber limit?

To avoid unwanted charges, Podia will NOT automatically change your email plan.

Changes to your email plan should be done manually.

What happens if I upgrade my plan before the next billing date?

If you upgrade to a new plan before your current one expires, you won't be charged twice.

We'll factor in the unused time from your existing plan and prorate the charges of your new plan accordingly 💳

What happens if I downgrade my Podia Email plan?

If you switch to a lower Podia Email plan with fewer subscribers than you currently have, email sending will be disabled.

When you're downgrading, your new plan will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle (either monthly or annual).

Transactional emails - such as sales confirmations, failed payment warnings, webinar reminders, etc. - will still be sent.

What happens if my Podia Email payment fails?

If your Podia Email payment fails, the ability to send emails will be disabled (broadcasts + campaigns).

Scheduled broadcasts will be set to draft, and email campaigns will be paused.

You will be prompted to fix your payment method, and - once your payment succeeds - email sending functionality should be restored.

Once email sending functionality is restored, make sure to re-schedule broadcasts and resume paused campaigns.
