Can I unpublish my website?

While you can't un-publish your website, you can create a custom homepage to temporarily hide your site pages.

Once your site has been created or its changes have been published, it is not possible to unpublish or take it offline.

If you need to unpublish your site, consider setting up an "Under Construction" page and making it your homepage as an interim solution.

Here's what you'll need to do:

  1. Create a new page on your Podia site and call it something like "Under Construction" or "Coming Soon".

  2. Edit this page to add a message saying that your site is not yet available and share more details if you'd like.

  3. Hide the header of this page to prevent people from navigating to other areas of your site.

  4. Set this page as your site's homepage so visitors are driven to this page if they try to visit your site.

Please note: following these steps will just ensure that people run into this "Coming Soon" message if they access your site's root/main URL.

Any other pages you have on your site will still be accessible.
