Once your site has been created or its changes have been published, it is not possible to unpublish or take it offline.
If you need to unpublish your site, consider setting up an "Under Construction" page and making it your homepage as an interim solution.
Setting up an "Under Construction" page
Here's how to set up an "Under Construction" page to indicate that your website is not ready yet.
Create a new page on your Podia site and call it something like "Under Construction" or "Coming Soon".
Edit this page to add a message saying that your site is not yet available and share more details if you'd like.
Hide the header of this page to prevent people from navigating to other areas of your site.
Set this page as your site's homepage so visitors are driven to this page if they try to visit your site.

These steps will only display the “Coming Soon” message on your site’s main (root) URL.
All other pages will still be accessible. However, you can remove them from your site navigation by hiding the header. In most cases, this isn’t something to worry about — especially if your site is new or just getting started.
