In summary, GDPR:
Lets people request a copy of all data that a business stores about them at no cost, and to have that data permanently deleted upon request.
Requires companies to report data breaches when those breaches include personally identifying information.
Doesn’t allow businesses to use data for actions that people didn’t explicitly consent to.
