Podia's chat feature is a great way to engage with your current audience and customers who are logged in to your site.
These direct messages can help you not only better engage your customers, but also immediately connect and understand their needs in context.
Starting a new conversation
Here's how to start a new conversation with your customers:
From your Podia dashboard, click on Chat in the sidebar menu.
Click on New conversation.
Select a customer from the dropdown menu or search for a customer to start a conversation with.
Type in the message you want to send in the text field and hit the Send button when you're ready.

Replying to an existing conversation
You can also reply to any of your existing conversations. Here's how:
From the Chat page, use the left-hand menu to locate the conversation you want to reply to and click on its name.
βUse the text field to write your message and hit the Send button to send it.
