Starting a conversation with customers

Learn how to use Podia Chat to send direct messages to your customers.

Podia's messaging feature is a great way to engage with your current audience and customers who are logged in to your site.

These direct messages can help you not only better engage your customers, but also immediately connect and understand their needs in context.


Starting a new conversation

  1. Start by clicking on the Message icon and choosing Messages from the messaging icon in the top bar.

  2. Click on "New conversation" to start a new conversation with a specific customer.

  3. Select a customer from the list to start a conversation. You can also search for specific customers by typing in their names or email address.

  4. Start typing your message in the text field area and hit send when you're ready to send it.

Continuing an existing conversation

You can also continue an existing conversation by clicking on any of the names in the conversation list on the left-hand side.
