Your profile details help people recognize and get to know you better.
Information like your name, photo, and bio will appear when you interact with others across your site, such as in posts, comments, chat, and other areas.
Overview
When you interact through chats, posts, comments, and other shared spaces, your profile details may be visible to others, helping them get to know you better.
You can personalize your profile by updating your name, bio, profile picture, social links, and other details to share more about yourself.
These details are only shown when your profile is shared with others. If your profile is hidden, they won’t be visible.
If you’re part of multiple Podias using the same email address, you’ll see additional options for managing your profile.
These options let you manage a Default profile and individual profiles for each Podia.
Default profile: A reusable profile that provides your profile information when you join another Podia using the same email address.
Your Default profile initially uses the information from the first Podia you joined, but you can update it at any time.
Individual profiles: Profiles you can customize separately for each Podia you’re part of. This allows you to use different profile information depending on the Podia.
Updating default profile details
Here's how to update default profile details:
From your home feed, click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner and select Account.
Click Edit next to the Profile option.
Under Community, make sure the Default option is selected.
Use the available fields to update your default profile details.
Available options are:Name: Define the name of your Podia account profile.
Photo: Upload a profile picture to your account.
Bio: Add a small bio to your profile. 120 characters max.
Socials: Add social links to your profile.
Privacy: Manage your profile privacy settings.
Hit Save to save your changes.
Updating individual profile details
Here's how to update individual profile details:
From your home feed, click your profile icon in the bottom-left corner and select Account.
Click Edit next to the Profile option.
Under Community, use the dropdown menu to select the individual Podia profile you’d like to edit.
Check Customize profile details to customize your profile for this individual Podia.
Use the available fields to update your individual profile details.
Hit Save to save your changes.
