You can easily insert videos across Podia.
Once added, the videos will show up as video players that people can watch directly from the page they're in.
Inserting videos
Here's how to insert videos:
Click on a supported text area and select the Video option from the quick action menu.
Use the available fields to upload your video. We do recommend that you upload your videos to Podia in MP4, MOV or AVI up to 5GB.
You can either upload a new file from your computer or select a file from your media library.
Once your video is uploaded additional options will pop up, such as adding thumbnails and captions for your video.
Thumbnail - Choose an image to use as a thumbnail for your video
Captions - Upload a .VTT file to be added as captions to your video. You can upload multiple captions in different languages.
Select if you'd like to display a download link below the video player for customers to download.
Once you're done, click Insert to add your video.

If you don’t see the option to add a video in the text area you’re editing, it likely means that the section you’re working in doesn’t support video uploads.

Yes. Video quality is adjusted by the viewer, not the site owner. Customers can change playback quality (like 360p, 720p, or Auto) using the video player’s settings while watching a video.

If you or your customers are watching a video on an iPhone or iPad, you may not see the quality selector. This is a limitation of Apple’s operating system rather than an issue with Podia’s video player.
Videos hosted through Podia are streamed using HLS (HTTP Live Streaming) through Cloudflare. On Apple devices, these videos are played using Apple’s built-in media player, which automatically adjusts the video quality based on your internet connection and screen size.
Because quality is managed automatically, Apple hides the manual quality selector—the gear icon normally available on desktop browsers and Android devices.
To select the video quality manually, watch the content from a desktop browser or Android device. On an iPhone or iPad, video quality will remain set to Auto.
