Leaving a Podia

Learn how to leave a Podia you're part of

Written by Rodrigo

As a member, you can leave any Podia you've joined at any time.

Leaving a Podia removes you from the specific Podia, along with all of your product enrollments, subscriptions, etc.

Leaving a Podia

Here's how to leave a Podia:

  1. From your home feed, click on the site name you're part of and select "Leave [Podia name] from the dropdown menu.

  2. On the following screen, review the implications of leaving a specific Podia, such as:

    • Your posts, comments, and chats will remain.

    • You’ll lose access to any products and events in that Podia.

    • Any active subscriptions and payment plans will be canceled.

    • Leaving a Podia doesn’t automatically issue a refund for products you purchased.

      • Contact the site admin directly to learn about their refund policy and request a refund, if applicable.

  3. Select Remove my public information if you also want to delete your profile information when leaving the Podia.

    • Removing your profile information anonymizes your public profile details, including your name and profile picture, so other members can no longer identify you.

    • This action can’t be undone. If you return to the Podia later, you won’t be able to regain access to your original profile.

  4. Select I understand what will happen if I leave, then click Leave [Podia name] to confirm that you want to leave the Podia.

FAQs

Can I regain access to my profile if I leave a Podia?

It depends on whether you remove your profile information when leaving.

If you leave a Podia and keep your profile information, your profile and previous activity, such as posts and comments, will be preserved. If you return to the Podia later, you can regain access to that profile and activity. Product enrollments will be permanently removed and won’t be restored.

If you choose Remove my public information, your profile details will be deleted. You won’t be able to recover your original profile if you return later.
