Viewing a contact's profile

Learn how to search for specific contacts in your audience and view their profile

You can look up anyone in your audience and open their contact profile to review information connected to their account.

From the contact profile, you can view their activity, purchases, invoices, wishlisted products, and more.

In this article, we’ll show you how to find and view a contact’s profile.

Viewing a contact's profile

Here’s how to view a contact's profile:

  1. From your home feed, click on your site name and select Admin from the dropdown menu.

  2. Click Audience in the sidebar menu.

  3. You’ll see a list of everyone in your audience.

    Use the search bar at the top of the page to find a specific contact by their name or email address. Once you’ve found the correct account, click the contact’s name to open their profile.

  4. The contact’s profile displays the information and activity associated with their account.

    From this page, you can review their purchases, total amount spent, signup date, email address, recent activity, and other account details.

  5. Use the tabs on the contact’s profile to view different types of account information:

    • Activity: Displays actions the contact has taken across your site.

    • Sales: Lists the products, events, and plans the contact is enrolled in, including paid, free, and invited offers.

    • Wishlist: Shows the products currently saved to the contact’s wishlist.

    • Waitlist: Shows the product waitlists the contact has joined.

    • Invoices: Displays all invoices associated with the contact.

  6. Use the right-hand menu to view additional details about the contact, such as their plan, tags, how much they've spent, etc.

    • Details: View all of your customers' details, such as last active date, email, whether they are subscribed to emails or not, and if they're part of any community plans

    • Tags: View all of your customers' tags

    • Analytics: View how much your customer has spent, how much it brings in MRR, and how much it's left for you to collect for payment plans.

FAQs

Can I edit a contact's information?

No. Only contacts can edit the information in their profiles. You can view the details they’ve entered, but you can’t change them.

If any information needs to be updated, ask the customer or member to edit it from their account. Here’s how:

What type of activity is tracked?

Podia tracks important actions taken by each contact, such as registering for an event, purchasing a product, or adding a product to their wishlist.

This activity appears on the contact’s profile and gives you a clearer view of how they’ve interacted with your site.

The contact subscribed to receive emails from you.

[Contact name] changed their [Old plan name] plan to [New plan name]

The contact switched from one plan to another.

[Contact name] was invited to [Product name]

The contact was granted access to a product by invitation.

[Contact name] signed up for [Product name]

The contact signed up for a product.

[Contact name] waitlisted for [Product name]

The contact joined the waitlist for a product.

[Contact name] was removed from the waitlist for [Product name]

The contact was removed from a product’s waitlist.

[Contact name] registered for [Event name]

The contact registered for an event.

[Contact name] signed up for [Purchase item name] ([Amount])

The contact completed a signup or purchase for an offer, and the amount shown is what they paid.

[Contact name] made a payment for [Item name]

The contact successfully made a payment for a product or plan.

[Contact name] had a failed payment for [Item name]

A payment attempt for the contact’s product or plan did not go through.

[Contact name] cancelled their plan

The contact canceled an active plan or subscription.

[Contact name] changed plan from [Old product name] to [New product name]

The contact moved from one subscription product or plan to another.

Can I view which plan a member is subscribed to from their profile?

Yes!


You can easily view the plan a member is subscribed to by checking the Details card on the right-hand menu of their profile.
