Every code only works for the web browser you requested it on.

If you are getting the codes on your phone, you should avoid changing tabs, as new codes will be requested each time.
It’s best to retrieve the code from another device or to open the email app directly.
Enter the code from the same page you requested the code from, otherwise, a new code will be generated for each login attempt on the new tab or browser.
