In this article, we’ll cover the most frequently asked questions about Podia’s Events feature.
Podia MCP FAQs
Which Podia plans include MCP?
Podia MCP is available on all Podia plans. Future limits may apply.
Can I connect the same AI account to multiple Podia accounts?
Your AI tool can only be linked to one Podia account at a time.
To switch accounts, disconnect the existing connection in Podia, sign in to the Podia account you want to use, and reconnect it from your AI tool.
Can my assistants use MCP with the same Podia account?
Yes. Each assistant connects their own AI tool to Podia using their individual Podia login.
You can review and manage your assistants’ connections from your settings, including disconnecting tools when needed.
Why do I have to keep reconnecting my AI tool to Podia?
You may be asked to reconnect your Podia account for a few different reasons:
Connections that remain unused for a period of time may expire automatically for security.
The authorization link used during setup expires after a short time. If you pause for too long, you may need to restart the connection process.
Your AI tool desktop app may need to be restarted after an update before it can reconnect successfully.
The connection uses the Podia account currently active in your browser. If you’re signed in to another Podia account you manage, the connection may fail or connect to the wrong account.
If you continue being asked to reconnect, sign in to the correct Podia account in your browser, restart your AI tool, and try connecting again.
If the issue continues, contact Podia Support for assistance.
Why don’t I see all of Podia tools in the MCP?
Not every Podia feature is available through Podia MCP yet.
The connection currently supports common workflows involving products, online courses, site pages, emails, sales, and other supported content.
We plan to expand its capabilities to more areas of Podia in future updates.
Why are my reports generated by the MCP different from my dashboard?
Small differences between the results returned by your AI tool and the data shown in your Podia dashboard usually come from one of the following:
The connection returns dates and times in UTC, while your Podia dashboard may use your local time zone.
The connection includes every billing status, while your dashboard may hide certain statuses by default.
The connection and your dashboard use different definitions of a time period—for example, whether a week begins on Sunday or Monday.
For a more precise comparison, ask your AI tool to run the query again using an exact date range. For example:
“Show me completed purchases from February 1, 2026, through February 7, 2026.”
Can I upload videos through the MCP?
No. Videos can’t be uploaded through Podia MCP. Podia MCP only supports uploading images and other files up to 10 MB.
Can changes made by my AI tool be reversed?
Not always. Some actions create drafts that you can review before publishing. For example, you can review and delete a new email or lesson if you don’t want to keep it.
Other actions, such as editing your website, may take effect immediately and can’t be undone, even by our team. Only grant Full access to AI tools you trust, and review your requests carefully before submitting them.
